Nick and I met as sophomore engineering students at Walla Walla, sitting near each other in physics. Over the course of two years, we got to know each other better and became great friends, eventually rooming together senior year. Our friendship has remained strong since college. I was the best man in his wedding, so now it's his turn to return the favor!

We first met as enemies when we were pre-teens. Instant dislike on both sides (mostly hers haha). Fast forward to high school, my senior year, and Kez had permanently moved into my and my roommate's dorm room. We had become sisters, forging a bond that has not been broken.
Trevor Donnelly
Groomsman
Trevor and I were best of friends in elementary and middle school. I spent countless nights over at his house and even referred to his mom Cheryl as my "second mom". We remained close through high school and stayed in touch through college and beyond. We always talked about becoming cops together, and even though I sold out and pursued engineering, Trevor doesn't hold it against me. He remains one of my best buds.

Sister of the groom, friend and new sister(in law) of the bride. We knew each other back in grade school (let's not count how many years ago) and I am so happy to be adding Kami to my list of "sisters".

Jon is my oldest friend; we've attended the same schools from kindergarten through college. I always enjoyed (and still enjoy) hanging with him to play video games, shoot hoops, or gorge ourselves on whatever food we could find. Jon remains a good friend of mine to this day, and I'm proud to have him in my wedding.

Daughter of Kezia Steinmetz. Crazy child with delicious cheeks. I don't see her often enough but she is the love of my heart.

As Nick's son, Sawyer is an obvious choice for the prestigious role of ring bearer. This kid has a smile that can brighten even the cloudiest of days, and he smiles so often, you'd wonder if that's exactly what he was put on this earth to do!
