Erik and I met at Mountain-view middle school in 2008 through our mutual friend Matt Fischer (Erik's Best Man). We were good friends until our sophomore year at Aloha High School. It wasn't until 2011 when our mutual friend Christina's (My Bridesmaid) birthday party that I started to see Erik as more than just that small dorky friend I knew. Erik asked me to be his girlfriend, but as some of you know I made him do it again because it wasn't special enough for me. Erik asked me again after watching the opening of the Disney movie Up. The two of us spent the rest of high school and into College at Southern Oregon University together and then moved to Idaho and bought a house together.

Erik told me that he wanted to go towards Palisaides reservoir to look for good places to go grouse hunting in the fall and that there was a waterfall there we could check out too. We drove around for a little bit and then when there was no longer anyone else at Fall Creek Falls we decided to go check it out. We walked down under the waterfall. I was taking pictures of the waterfall not paying attention to what Erik was doing then when I turned around Erik was on one knew holding a ring. He asked me to marry him and of course I said yes. Looking back I don't remember exactly what he said because I was so excited.
