This is Wes's favorite golf course on Kiawah Island. This par 72 course boasts stunning ocean views and is home to the 2021 PGA Tour. It is a golfer's dream! There is also a clubhouse with ocean views, pro shop and dining. Additionally, there are four other courses to choose from on the island: Osprey Point, Turtle Point, Cougar Point and Oak Point.
One of Erika's favorite things to do on the island is take a long bike ride. Kiawah has miles of bike trails that highlight the beautiful nature of the island. One of the greatest things is to ride your bike on the beach at sunset. This is our preferred rental company and the will deliver your bikes right to you wherever you are staying.

This is a must see while you are visiting the Kiawah Island / Charleston Area! It is one of our favorites. The Angel Oak Tree is estimated to be in excess of 400-500 years old, stands 66.5 ft (20 m) tall, measures 28 ft (8.5 m) in circumference, and produces shade that covers 17,200 square feet (1,600 m2). From tip to tip Its longest branch distance is 187 ft. There is considerable debate about the age of the Angel Oak. Some contend that it is 1,500 years old. Most believe that the more conservative estimates are more accurate.
In 1743, the son of Major John Boone planted live oak trees, arranging them in two evenly spaced rows. This spectacular approach to his home symbolizes southern heritage and will take root in your memory for many years to come. It would take two centuries for the massive, moss-draped branches to meet overhead, forming today’s natural corridor and a scene that NBC Daytime television says is “a must see stop on any trip to Charleston, S.C.”
