De Jesus Wedding

Erika & Israel have known each other for many years. When younger, Erika found out Israel always had a crush on her but as many people do, they grew older, lost contact & continued on with their separate lives. On March of 2016 is when their love story began. It started with Israel sending Erika a message through social media asking whether she was related to someone he knew, as soon as Erika responded back, it was all history from then on. They grew closer each passing day, not knowing that they would ever fall in love with one another. We are beyond blessed that God had created this beautiful unity between them.

On this date, Israel gathered all of our closest relatives & friends to share this beautiful moment together. My sister as his accomplice, suggested that me & her should have a sister date and I willingly agreed. She decided she wanted to go to Serafino's Ristorante out in Wallingford, CT. As we arrived to the restaurant, the staff directed us into a separate room and there at the end of the room, was Israel kneeling down on one knee surrounded by each of our closest loved ones. Shocked as never before, I began to cry & my sister escorted me up to him, where he asked for my hand in marriage & of course I said “Yes!” We have always spoken about wanting to get married someday but I could not believe that now it was actually going to happen & that he had done all of this for us. We’re beyond blessed.
