Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Ladies, please do not wear white... or ivory, or cream or anything remotely close to Anne Hathaway’s beautiful porcelain skin color. To the Wedding: We would LOVE to see our family and friends get dressed up for the big day! The dress code is cocktail. Cocktail attire is meant to bridge the gap between day and night. It's a balance between formal and casual and elegant and comfortable. This generally means no sneakers or casual wear, but nice, dark jeans are fine for our purposes. For some examples, visit: https://www.theknot.com/content/wedding-guest-attire-cheat-sheet#cocktail-attire To the Texas Reception: keep it casual! Throw on your favorite jeans (non-hole-y, save those for Sunday) and a nice shirt or blouse or a non-white dress or other outfit of your choosing. Feel free to dress up as much as you please.

Question

What will the weather in Las Vegas be like in December?

Answer

December's weather is the coolest of the year for Las Vegas, Nevada. But that only means a few nights of frost and daytime temperatures in the 50s Fahrenheit (over 10 degrees Celsius).

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

All allotted plus ones will be included on the invitation and/or on your personalized RSVP page on this wedding website. Due to capacity limitations, we can only allow those listed to join us. We politely ask that you do not bring a guest, as we desire to keep the festivities limited to our closest family and friends. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Can I take pictures and/or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you put your phone away for the duration of the ceremony (don't worry, our officiant will remind you). We want everyone to be present and focused on our nuptials. We will make sure to share any photos and videos from our professional photographer with you all. Phones, tablets, pagers, etc. are not part of the aesthetic we are going for and we'd hate to have any of those things blocking our professional photographer's ability to capture the moment, so PLEASE be respectful of our wishes (and our photographer).

Question

What happens if I miss the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP no later than November 1, 2023 for the Las Vegas Ceremony and no later than April 18, 2024 for the Texas Reception. We must have final numbers to the respective venues in a timely manner, therefore if you have not submitted your RSVPs for the respective events by the aforementioned dates, you will be marked as "not attending." We will miss you, but hope to have the opportunity to celebrate at another time!

Question

Is there a way to watch the Vegas ceremony from afar?

Answer

YES! The Ceremony will be live streamed on our wedding website with the chapel: https://www.littlechapel.com/pww?id=1288716 The ceremony will begin PROMPTLY at 4:30 PST (6:30 CST) so make sure to log in a few minutes before if you don't want to miss anything.

Question

Why are you doing a separate reception in Texas?

Answer

Great question! Our venues in Vegas cap the amount of guests allowed for the ceremony and the reception at 50 people. We wanted our marriage to start with an adventure and what better place to kick it off than Las Vegas?? But we care about every single one of you and want to celebrate with you, so we decided to bring the party to Texas after we tie the knot. We can't wait to share an awesome reception with you!
