Summer weekends in the mountains are busy, so expect traffic on 70 on Fridays going to the mountains, and Sundays coming from the mountains.

Altitude

We will be at about 8,700 ft for this wedding! Out-of-towners should consider spending a night in the Denver area to adjust, before climbing an additional 3,700 ft to the wedding location. Remember to drink plenty of water and watch the alcohol intake.

Denver International Airport

The closest airport is DIA. It's a 2 hour drive from the wedding venue, without traffic.

YMCA of the Rockies - Snow Mountain Ranch

This is where the wedding will take place and is less than a mile from the Lefebvre's home - the Welcome Party location. They have cabins, rooms, yurts and a campsite. We have reserved a block of Indian Peaks Lodge rooms for two nights: 7/20 - 7/22. Please call Central Booking 800-777-9622 and mention the McClellan/Lefebvre wedding when making your reservation. If you'd like to extend your stay, you can ask them about availability.

Devils Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa

A higher-end option is only 15 minutes away. Turn the trip into a luxurious vacation and enjoy gourmet dining, spa treatments and a SUPER comfy bed (we know from experience). We won't be reserving rooms here and summer weekends are extremely popular at Devil's Thumb (more weddings!), so plan this one early on your own. Update: As of 1/25/2018, Devil's Thumb rooms were all filled for the wedding weekend.

Fairways at Pole Creek

Go through VRBO to rent a house in Fairways at Pole Creek - the Lefebvre's neighborhood! These houses are less than a mile from Snow Mountain Ranch and on a golf course. Beautiful homes with beautiful views. PLEASE BOOK FAR IN ADVANCE - these places book up. You can also check Home Away and airbnb.
