Things To Do

Vermont is a beautiful place to visit in the fall, right as the leaves are changing. Below, you can find ideas of activities to do and places to visit in the area. We hope you enjoy your time here!

Smugglers' Notch Resort

4323 Vermont 108, Jeffersonville, VT 05464

Enjoy the resort village, or take some time to go on a hike in the area.

Stowe

Stowe, VT 05672

The town of Stowe offers a cute, quaint town with shops and restaurants, as well as access to hiking trails.

Notch Road

Vermont Route 108,

Drive along Notch Road, also known as Vermont Route 108, from Smugglers' Notch all the way to Stowe. This is the perfect route for leaf peeping during fall. We hope you will take the opportunity of being in the Vermont mountains during the most wonderful time of the year to see the beautiful leaves as they begin to change.

Ben & Jerry’s

1281 Waterbury-Stowe Road, Waterbury Village Historic District, VT 05676

Our first date was at the Ben & Jerry's scoop shop on Church Street. If you like ice cream, take a tour of the Ben & Jerry's factory, which includes a free sample, and visit the flavor graveyard!

Church Street Marketplace

131 Church Street, Burlington, VT 05401

Take a stroll down Church Street, a quintessential part of Burlington. There are countless shops and restaurants, and there is something for everyone to enjoy!

The Friendly Toast

86 Saint Paul Street, Burlington, VT 05401

The Friendly Toast is one of our favorite places to go for brunch in downtown Burlington. Enjoy unique combinations of breakfast and lunch foods, including some of our favorites: mimosa flights, churro bites, and donut breakfast sandwiches.

Henry's Diner

155 Bank Street, Burlington, VT 05401

Another breakfast favorite in downtown Burlington. This classic diner offers a wide variety of choices, and its popularity makes finding an empty seat quite a feat.

Saint Albans City

Saint Albans City, VT

Come visit our little town! We moved to Saint Albans in December 2023, and have enjoyed exploring. Emma recently started working at the St. Albans Free Library, a beautiful, historical brick building that houses a wide variety of books and activities for the whole community.

What A Yarn

107 Bank Street, Saint Albans City, VT 05478

Visit one of Emma's favorite places in Saint Albans - her Local Yarn Shop! This shop and its community quickly became an essential part of life in our small town for Emma, not only for the yarn, but also for the friends she's made.

For all the days along the way
