While you're in Vermont, don't miss out on Church Street- which is about a 25 minute drive from our venue. The fantastic shops and restaurants make it a wonderful place to explore. Brian and Emma had their first date at The Farmhouse on Church Street. We also highly recommend Pascolo for Italian cuisine, Ri Ra for an Irish pub experience, and Honey Road for a Mediterranean menu. If you choose Honey Road, be sure to make a reservation early—it's very popular!
If you're in the mood for Vermont wine and beautiful scenery, visit Shelburne Vineyards, just a 10 minute drive from the venue! Emma and Brian love going here for live music and a glass of Harvest Nights red wine, and pairing it with a pizza from across the street at Folino's. It's the perfect activity for an October day!
Mount Philo is a short hike in Charlotte that leads to a beautiful view of Lake Champlain! It is perfect if you feel like going for a hike, but don't want to commit to a whole day excursion. Experience beautiful fall foliage by taking the trek up Mount Philo, and grab a sandwich for lunch at The Red Onion only four minutes away!
Charlotte Village Winery is only three minutes away from our wedding venue, and is a fabulous place to grab a glass of wine. They specialize in sweet, blueberry, and strawberry wines which are delicious! You can also go for an extremely affordable wine tasting, or sit on the patio with a glass of wine and some friends!
If you are in the mood for a good laugh, check out a show at the Vermont Comedy Club! There are wonderful headliners every weekend. Brian does a ton at the VCC, along with Emma's best friend and bridesmaid, Maggie Phelan. There will be a ton of comedy club friends at the wedding, including the amazing owners- Natalie and Nathan!
