We had gone to school together and grew up in the same town the majority of our lives, but our paths did not cross much when we were younger. After college, we began hanging out more with mutual friends and the rest is history! We now have been together 4 years, have an amazing dog, and are getting ready to start our next adventure as husband and wife! We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you!

On our third anniversary Nick had surprised me with a romantic dinner at a steak house here in Chicago. After dinner a photographer approached our table and asked if he could take pictures of us for their social media account. As he was taking my picture he asked me to turn around and there Nick was on one knee. I was completely surprised and with tears of joy running down my face, I said "YES" and we were engaged!
