Calgary International Airport (YYC)

We recommend flying into Calgary Airport (YYC) and renting a car to drive to Canmore, which is 1 hour 20 minutes drive. For travelers returning to the United States, please note that you are no longer required to do a pre-entry COVID test. If you are flying directly to the U.S. from Calgary, you will go through U.S. customs *in Calgary*, not when you arrive at your destination. We recommend that you account for this when planning your return journey, and allow for a bit of extra time at the airport to go through Customs. An extra 30-60 minutes is generally enough, though you can enter customs up to 90 minutes before your flight.

Banff National Park Pass

For each day you enter into Banff National Park, you will need to purchase a park pass. Brian and I will plan to purchase the Discovery Pass which would cover up to 7 people per vehicle. Free admission for youth 17 and under
