Not many know but they actually met on MySpace! It’s a little fuzzy on who messaged who first, but it started a 3 month texting adventure. The first “in person” meet was at the Northridge Borders (😢). They talked about their families, travel, music, and their mutual love of clouds. The night ended with a very memorable first kiss!! The first official date was mini golf, Greek food, and coffee. A few weeks later, and hours of text messages later, Zack officially asked Elyse to be his girlfriend. Many trips, love, hardship, loss, and adventure later Zack took Elyse on one of their yearly adventure trips. These trips are always a surprise to the other, with only clues given prior to driving off to the location. This adventure led the two off the Yosemite National Park. Elyse has no clue that this trip wasn’t like any other trip- this would be one for the memory books! What Elyse thought was a simple hike around Lower Yosemite Falls turned into the most important question Zack would ever ask- “Will you marry me?”
