FAQ

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP for everyone in your party by Apr 13 2025.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited venue space, we can't accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the invitation.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are suggesting a "Smart/Dressy Casual" Dress code. Basically, everything between "better than blue jeans" and not quite formalwear. You probably already have something in your wardrobe that will do the job. At the end of the day, this is the Pacific Northwest and we're having an outdoor ceremony next to the ocean—the most important thing to us is that you're comfortable! You should know that the terrain at the ceremony is rocky so please wear appropriate footwear.

Question

What should I expect for dinner and drinks?

Answer

Dinner: You can expect a laid back, West Coast, and seasonally inspired menu served family style! Drinks: You can expect an open bar from a select menu at dinner. Once we "hit the town", drinks will be on your own!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please include any of your dietary restrictions and allergies in your RSVP!

Question

What's the transportation/parking situation?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at the ceremony location (Cattle Point), but please be aware you cannot leave your car overnight there. If you would like to Taxi, Uber, or Evo to the ceremony site, we will be arranging a shuttle to transport everyone after the ceremony to our dinner reception located in downtown Victoria (Wind Cries Mary). Please indicate in your RSVP whether you want to be included in the shuttle! If you are driving to the ceremony and reception but wish to leave your car overnight downtown, we would recommend the parkade at 575 Yates Street where there is 24/7 mobile security. Pay parking in the Yates St parkade is $2.50/hr in effect from 8 am to 8 pm and can be accessed via the ParkVictoria app.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are not! Celebrating with you is what we care about most! If you still wish to bring or send something, any monetary contributions would be warmly received and saved for our honeymoon.

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

Panic! Just kidding, bring your umbrella—we go West Coast hard.

For all the days along the way
