We're getting married y'all!!

"In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps." - Proverbs 16:9 Liz and Butch met on a dance floor on February 22, 2025, where what began as a simple dance turned into something neither of them was looking for, but both instantly felt. Little did they know that the first dance of that night would be the first of many. Even through distance and life’s challenges, their love remained steady and strong. Built on trust, laughter, commitment, and patience to learn and grow together. They learned that home isn’t a place, it’s being with each other. This truth revealed itself day after day, month after month, which led to this day. Their journey, though unexpected, has led them to this moment. Today, they joyfully begin their next chapter and celebrate their love with the people who mean the most to them. With the friends and family who have supported them through every season. Liz and Butch thank each and every one of you here today, and those watching over them from heaven. Each of you, near and far, has played a role in their story. And today, they begin a new chapter in matrimony, love, and the grace of Jesus Christ, our Savior. “So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” — Matthew 19:6

“El corazón del hombre traza su rumbo, pero el Señor dirige sus pasos.” - Proverbios 16:9 Liz y Butch se conocieron en una pista de baile el 22 de febrero de 2025, donde lo que comenzó como un simple baile se transformó en algo que ninguno de los dos estaba buscando, pero que ambos sintieron de inmediato. Poco sabían que ese primer baile de la noche sería el primero de muchos. Incluso a través de la distancia y los desafíos de la vida, su amor se mantuvo firme y fuerte. Un amor construido sobre la confianza, la risa, el compromiso y la paciencia para aprender y crecer juntos. Aprendieron que el hogar no es un lugar, sino estar el uno con el otro. Esta verdad se fue revelando día tras día, mes tras mes, hasta reunirlos en este momento. Su camino, aunque inesperado, los ha llevado hasta aquí. Hoy comienzan con alegría su próximo capítulo y celebran su amor con las personas que más significan para ellos: los amigos y la familia que los han acompañado y apoyado en cada etapa de su vida. Liz y Butch agradecen de corazón a cada uno de ustedes que está aquí hoy, y a quienes los acompañan desde el cielo. Cada uno de ustedes, cerca o lejos, ha sido parte de su historia.
