FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We know we have put 1st of March on the printed invites but we will be extending it until the 31st of March :)

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We would like our guests attending the Church Ceremony to come in by 1245 :)

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will be providing a shuttle for those who need a ride from the church to the reception venue - Aswarby Rectory, Please let us know if you would require this. Party ends at 11pm so please book your taxis for then.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The Church does not have its own parking area so we recommend parking in Asda (across the road). Aswarby Rectory has its own parking area open to everyone driving.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest." then yes, if not, we prefer that it was just you as we have a limited capacity.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Many of our guests will be travelling from overseas, so we ask that you don’t spend anymore on gifts as your attendance on our special day already counts as one. For those who insist, if you wish to get us something we have a small registry on Amazon Wedding under our names or you could make a modest contribution to our honeymoon - but please don’t feel obligated. It will be : Amazon Wedding or www.amazon.co.uk/wedding Find Registry: Ela Manzano / Kieran Gilder.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have made several room bookings at Angel and Royal located here in Grantham. It is central in this little town and only a walking distance to both the train station and the Church. Please make your booking thru: GILDER GROUP.

Question

What should I expect in the ceremony?

Answer

The wedding will be celebrated with a Catholic Mass and exchanging of vows. The ceremony will last approximately 30 - 40 minutes. There will be sitting, standing, sitting (again), (more) standing, some kneeling, praying and blessing. Please participate as much as you feel comfortable.

Question

I am not Catholic/religious. Is that okay?

Answer

Absolutely! We would love if all our guests can be in attendance. We respect the diverse cultures, lifestyles and faiths of each of our guests. We simply want you to be there to celebrate in our union.

For all the days along the way
