Parking around the Holy Virgin Cathedral is difficult to find, so we recommend arriving around 12:30-12:45pm to have enough time to be there by 1pm. A large part of the ceremony is at the entrance, so it will be difficult to enter once it starts.
The Holy Virgin Cathedral is accessible by car and public transportation. Only street parking is available. Due to limited street parking in the area, we would encourage you to carpool or use rideshare. Please leave enough time to account for parking. Please do not leave any valuables in the car as there are a lot of break-ins in San Francisco.
In accordance with the Russian Orthodox tradition, the dress code is formal and modest. Women should wear dresses or skirts that are at least knee length. No tank tops or strapless dresses are permitted without a shawl. Men should wear collared shirts with formal pants. We highly encourage suits with ties. No sneakers please. We recommend for you to wear comfortable shoes as guests will be standing throughout the wedding ceremony, which will be about an hour on.
We ask that you RSVP as soon as you know you are able to attend.
We are excited to celebrate our wedding with our close friends and family. You may find the names of invited guests included in your party when you search your name on the RSVP page.
Our wedding will be completely indoors.
San Francisco can be chilly with temperatures in the 50s to low 60s in April. We recommend bringing a sweater or coat.
We do not have a hotel block available. There are many hotel and Airbnb options, and we wanted our guests to have the flexibility to chose what works best for them. In addition, many of our guests are either from San Francisco or have family and friends in the area.
