When should we arrive at Dunafon Castle?

Answer

At or after 5:00pm! The bulk of guests will arrive on the shuttle around 5:15, with the ceremony beginning at 5:45pm.

What does driving/parking look like?

Answer

While the wedding shuttle* is greatly preferred for our guest's safest & truly most convenient transport up/down the canyon- Dunafon Castle provides valet parking on-site for all who do wish to bring their own vehicle. Disclaimer- the castle's provided address IS correct but everyone misses the turn to the driveway- it is the next left turn, (heading west) after Lair O' the Bear hiking area, marked by the green wrought-iron gate & Dunafon Castle sign- south side of the canyon. *See "TRAVEL" page for more information.

Can we take Lyft/Uber to the Wedding? *

Dunafon Castle is located inside a canyon in between Morrison & Evergreen- Internet & rideshare availability- especially at night- is NOT reliable. The wedding shuttle is the very best option, or guests may drive to the castle & utilize the valet parking onsite. *See "TRAVEL" tab for more information.

Is the castle haunted?

Answer

The Barnes family inherited the castle from it's creator in 1969. On Halloween morning of 1999, Mr. Barnes, his wife and one of his three daughters boarded the Air Egypt Flight 990 that mysteriously dove into the Atlantic Ocean… Due to the overwhelming maintenance of the property, surviving daughter, Lisa Barnes put the Castle on the market. After rejecting many offers, Lisa Barnes swears that her parents appeared to her in the driveway and insisted that the castle should go to the current owner.
