We first met at the summer series "Music on the Half Shell" in Kilmarnock. Both Northern Neck natives- Kilmarnock and White Stone, we had both moved back to our roots after years of living in other areas and states. Chad's mother was Brooke's preschool teacher, and Chad's father worked with Brooke's Dad for nearly 26 years. Brooke knew the whole family, (or so she thought she did) including Wade, Chad's brother. However, she didn't have a clue about Chad. Being five years older they never crossed paths or even knew of each other... until one summer. Chad asked Brooke to dinner that week, and the week after and the next month they saw each other almost daily. Moved in together within two months of dating and the rest is history. We are so in love and so happy to say that our first date became both of our last first dates ever! We can't wait to celebrate a life together- what God had planned all along!
