Edinburgh Airport is 20-30 minutes from the city centre by car or a short tram ride to Edinburgh Gateway train station. The Airport is roughly 10 minute taxi ride from Carlowrie Castle and the Dakota Hotel!

EDINBURGH GATEWAY OR DALMENY

The two closest train stations to Carlowrie Castle are Edinburgh Gateway or Dalmeny. Both are a 10 minute taxi ride to the Castle and about 30 minutes from Edinburgh Waverley Station in the city centre. NB: there are no taxi ranks at these train stations so we recommend booking taxis in advance. A quick google will bring up several local cab companies, so be sure to book in advance!
