A note on gifts

Answer

You’re invited to our wedding, when we both say ‘I Do’, And as you know we’ve been ‘I do’-ing for at least a year or two! We’ve been together many years and have a lovely home, There’s not that many items that we don’t already own. So if your thoughts were on a gift, your presence will suffice, But if you really feel the need, honeymoon donations would be nice! The choice is really up to you and we’d just like to say; That most of all we hope you come, enjoy yourselves, and have a lovely day! Should you wish to get us a gift, please note we may not be able to enjoy it immediately. We will be flying, and suitcase space will be limited!

Are children invited?

Answer

In order to allow all of our guests, including parents, an evening of fun and relaxation, we have chosen for our wedding to be an adult only occasion. We hope this advanced notice means you are still able to celebrate with us, and will enjoy having the evening off! We would love you to join the fun!

Can I bring a plus 1?

Answer

Unfortunately, we do not have space for guests/plus ones. We have large families and limited space in our ceremony venue! Thank you for understanding.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony. As soon as the 'I-do's' are said, snap away! We politely request to refrain from posting pictures of the happy couple on social media until the following day. We've hired an amazing photographer to capture our best angles so you don't have to! If you are posting your photos online, please include the hashtag #ThomsonToJohnson so we can easily see them! I know, Millennial wedding or what!?

Semi-formal (suit and tie and cocktail dresses) Kilts are encouraged for the men ;)

Yes, there is parking at the venue. Please see our travel page for information on taxi’s.
