Zihuatanejo is located in the state of Guerrero on the Pacific coast of Mexico. On the map, it’s almost directly west of Mexico City (it’s about 200 miles from Mexico City. The flight from Mexico City takes an hour but the drive is roundabout and will take over 8 hours).
