This is a great park to walk along the beach or on various trails! There is a public beach towards the back of the park to go swimming. This is where we typically take Eddie swimming!
Take a ferry ride over to Put-in-Bay for the day! There are many restaurants, bars and things to do. Check out the live music at The Round House Bar and food at The Forge or Topsy Turvy. The Miller Ferry and The Jet Express will take you to PIB. The Jet is faster and takes you downtown, but is more expensive. The Miller allows cars and takes you to the back of the island with plenty of cabs to take you downtown.
We spend a lot of our year boating over to Kelleys. There are glacial grooves, a public beach, plenty of restaurants, and it's a little more laid back than PIB. We love going to The Pump for walleye or perch bites! The winery and cantina are also favorites with a little walk from the downtown area. The Kelleys Island Ferry is your best way to get to the island.
Check out Cedar Point during their Halloweekends to see the best decorations. Millennium Force and Steel Vengeance are our favorite rides!
A family owned cafe serving great breakfast, lunch, smoothies and coffee! This is a dog friendly spot, so Eddie enjoys visiting Rudders too. We love their BLT, Mexicali wrap and Southwest wrap. Get their potato salad as your side!
The Farm Stand and Coop Bar are great spots for awesome coffee, cocktails and food!
Twin Oast has a gorgeous outdoor space especially near sunset. Try some of their food and beers while walking around their grounds.
A great option for food that is tucked away in Marblehead. Their pierogis and chicken paprikash are some of our favorite dishes. We both agree they have the best perch bites in the local area and great cocktails too. If you like beer, try the white stout from Butcher & The Brewer!
They're known for their bourbon collection and great food. We love their Birria Tacos and mix of french fries. Many people rave about their cheesecake too!
We stop by Canoe Club frequently for date nights! They have awesome food including wood fired pizzas, sandwiches and weekly specials. We both enjoy their turkey, apple & brie sandwich a lot!
A great spot for breakfast in Marblehead!
A local favorite! Be sure to get there early or they might sellout. Jordan loves the chocolate toffee mocha and Ryan's favorite is the maple bacon. Try an apple fritter too!
A local company that has been around since 1900! There is another location in Port Clinton, but the Sandusky location offers more flavors and is a great stop after visiting Cedar Point. Ryan likes their milkshakes and sherbet the best, and Jordan loves their Buckeye Bites.
