We're getting married!

Back in 2014, we were brought together by mutual friends who thought we'd make a great match and set up a double date at our local trampoline park. You could say Dylan was "jumping for joy" when he first saw Sophia. ;) We met and became friends but continued our separate ways as Dylan enlisted in the Marine Corps, and Sophia began her undergrad education. Flash forward to 2023 when fate kicked in again as Sophia relocated back home to Oceanside for a her dream job and Dylan was finishing up his undergrad education while starting his career. We reconnected the old fashioned way, on Hinge! For their first date they decided to go to a local brewery and meet up for some drinks. Much like the trampoline park back in 2014, Sophia was under the impression that they were going to meet up as friends. Dylan on the other hand, was nervous as ever. They ended up catching up and talking for hours until the brewery closed (what a way to spend a work night). As they both went home for the night, Dylan thought he made a bad first impression, but Sophia had thought otherwise and they continued on ever since. From the first date, we both knew that this friendship would grow into something beautiful. Time went on and Dylan was very patient as Sophia was navigating major life changes professionally, though she realized that Dylan was too special to keep as only a friend. While they have only been in a relationship with each other for over a year, their relationship feels like it has been a lifelong adventure. From then on, they promised to stand by each other's side through life's ups and downs. The last year has been filled with memories, and Sophia and Dylan can't wait to share their favorite with you!
