This place is amazing! Bride's favorite daily go to back when she was living in Dallas. Try their Pumpkin Latte or Chai with Vanilla and a sprinkle of Cinnamon. Beats Starbucks any day!
The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden
The Dallas Arboretum is on site of White Rock Lake. When we first met, we met at White Rock Lake, we walked with Cooper down the lake path and stopped right outside the lake side gates of the arboretum. The memory of leaves turning and breezes off the gardens smelled amazing even in late October. It is one of the many treasures that Dallas has to offer.
Torchy's Tacos
If you are a taco fan, and you enjoy giggles over names of food. You should go to Torchy's. WE LOVE this place and can never get enough. James's Favorite: Trailer Park Trashy Rachel's Favorite: Crossroads and Democrat
Bishop Arts District
One of the happening locations in Dallas. We love the area and the shops there. Well, the bride likes the shops. Haha. The hip Bishop Arts District is known for its diverse nightlife, chic independent fashion stores and colorful street art. Dining choices range from Texas-style BBQ to Vietnamese pho, while relaxed bars pour everything from cocktails to house-brewed cider. Cult movies are the draw at the Texas Theatre, while the art deco Kessler Theater presents live music by local and national bands.
Dallas Grilled Cheese Co (Bishop Arts District)
Many dining trips to one of Rachel's favorite place to eat in the city. (Bishops Arts location-Near Emporium Pies is Original location spot) You cannot say you have had a grilled cheese sandwich until you have had one of these.
Emporium Pies
If you like pie...like the Groom. You will want to swing by this place before you leave. They usually have four to five to choose from...and they are so good they usually have a line. But, the wait is totally worth it!!
