FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be held during a Catholic Mass, a sacred and traditional part of our special day. In respect for the reverence of the church, we kindly ask that guests choose modest and appropriate attire suitable for a place of worship. We encourage women to wear dresses or outfits that cover the shoulders and are of a modest length, and men to wear dress shirts and slacks or suits. Think classic, elegant, and church-appropriate! After the ceremony, we’ll celebrate together at the reception—so feel free to bring your dancing shoes and enjoy the evening in style!

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please kindly RSVP by June 14, 2026, so we can finalize all the details for our big day. Your timely response helps us plan seating, meals, and all the special touches to make the day perfect. Thank you for replying as soon as you can — we’re so excited to celebrate with our favorite people!

Question

What happens if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not get an RSVP back by June 14, 2026 , it will be marked as a "No". We will miss you celebrating with us, however, we have to provide total guest counts to the venue in a timely manner. Due to this we cannot accept late RSVP's. (This means you are not allowed to show up to our special day. There will be no seating, food, or beverage accommodations for you).

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We'd love to include everyone, but due to limited space, only guests who received a plus one on their invitation can bring guests. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, due to limited space, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of the little ones who have a role in the wedding. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night! Feel free to message us with any concerns regarding kids!

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Parking at our venue is limited to around 65 spots, so we kindly encourage guests to carpool whenever possible. Sharing a ride not only helps ensure there’s enough space for everyone, but it’s also a fun way to arrive together and start the celebration early! If you are staying at the Country Inn and Suites in Buffalo, we are working on organizing a shuttle for your convenience. Thank you for helping us make parking smooth and stress-free for all our guests!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 PM at St. Michael Catholic Church. Please plan to be seated by 1:45 to ensure you have time to settle in. Cocktail hour will begin at 5:00 PM for all guests at Reeds and Rushes followed by the reception starting at 6:00 PM. We look forward to seeing all of you there!

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes. There is a bar at the reception venue that will provide alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options.

Question

Can I bring my own adult beverages?

Answer

No. Our venue and reception do not allow outside alcoholic beverages to be brought in during the ceremony or reception. There will be a bar provided during the reception for those of legal age.

Question

I have a food accommodation can I make a request?

Answer

Yes! Please add that into the accommodations comment while RSVPing.
