ARE KIDS INVITED?

Answer

In short, yes to all events except no little ones at the Reception. We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! There will be about an hour between the Ceremony and start of the Reception which should be plenty of time to drop those kids off with a babysitter. Babysitters can be booked through Care 4 Kids (http://babysittinginvail.com/).

WHAT’S THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

The dress code for the Ceremony and Reception is Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks. For all other events, dress appropriately

IS THERE A SHUTTLE TO AND FROM THE HOTEL TO THE CEREMONY?

Answer

Yes, group shuttle services will be provided between venues and home within Beaver Creek at the end of the night. For additional shuttle service within Beaver Creek, download the Village Connect App, or call (970) 949-1938 to arrange transportation and please allow 10-20 minutes for pickup.

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?

Answer

The weather in the mountains of Colorado can change frequently with little notice. While we expect a warm sunny day, be prepared for passing rain showers and cooler evenings. The ceremony will be at 10,200 feet, so a sweater or jacket may be beneficial. We recommend checking the weather daily.

WHERE CAN I PARK AT BEAVER CREEK VILLAGE?

Answer

If you are staying in Beaver Creek, parking should be complimentary at your condo. If you are staying elsewhere, you can park at the Ford Hall Garage in the village for free during the summer. Please note there is no parking at the SaddleRidge (reception) site. Beaver Creek has complimentary shuttles throughout the area. For shuttle service within Beaver Creek, download the Village Connect App, or call (970) 949-1938 to arrange transportation and please allow 10-20 minutes for pickup.

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

HOW TO AVOID ALTITUDE SICKNESS?

Answer

Beaver Creek sits at 8,100 ft above sea level and the Wedding Deck sits above 10,000 ft. Altitude can effect everyone differently from not at all to extreme discomfort and even sickness. Please, remember to stay well-hydrated and move slowly upon first arriving to Beaver Creek allowing your body to acclimate.
