Hike a 14er

Hardcore Hiking Attire: Day-backs with extra water, food, and clothing. Expect 10+ hours of strenuous hiking
At 14,433 feet Mount Elbert is the highest point in the Sawatch Range as well as the state. On this difficult 4,700 foot climb you'll mostly be above treeline so be prepared. North Mount Elbert Trail is a 10.3 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Leadville, Colorado that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as difficult. You will also be at altitude so make sure you allow yourself plenty of time. Also, we need to get a VERY early start because thunderstorms can roll in during summer afternoons and it is highly dangerous to be above treeline in an electrical storm. https://www.14ers.com/route.php?route=elbe1&peak=Mt.+Elbert

Causal welcome event. Light drinks and desserts to be provided. We know travel to Beaver Creek can be long and difficult so we wanted to provide anyone making it in early with a drink and a little conversation. Please pop in for any amount of time.

Beaver Lake (9,746 feet) is a pristine mountain lake in the Holy Cross Wilderness. Beaver Lake Trail is a 6.3 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail beginning in Beaver Creek Village is rated as moderate with 1,640 feet of climbing. https://www.strava.com/activities/1152139691

Our Ceremony and Reception

Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks.
From Beaver Creek Village follow the escalators to Centennial Express Lift for a gondola ride to the Wedding Deck. After the ceremony, group shuttle service will be provided from Centennial Express Lift to the reception at SaddleRidge and home at the end of the event. Please note that there is NO PARKING available at SaddleRidge Lodge (reception venue). For additional shuttle service within Beaver Creek, download the Village Connect App, or call (970) 949-1938 to arrange transportation and please allow 10-20 minutes for pickup.
