Question

What is the attire / dress code?

Answer

Please wear formal attire in an all black color scheme. Trust us! Everyone wearing ALL BLACK will create really cohesive looking photos of everyone throughout the day, and will allow us to pop. We please ask that you have minimal to no patterns or color in your outfits or accessories, and limit white as much as possible. Men can wear white shirts with a black coat. You’ll all look amazing! Please communicate this to all persons on the invitation you receive that you are RSVPing for.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

In the area during March, the weather is usually about 65-70 degrees during the day, and can creep down into the 50s after sunset. Our venue is outdoors (ceremony and cocktail hour are completely outdoors, reception will be under a large tent with heaters). With guest arrival starting at 3:30pm and ceremony starting a 4:00pm, we will definitely be there into the night as it gets cooler. Please dress accordingly!

Question

How long is everything?

Answer

Guests are asked to arrive between 3:30pm-3:45pm. We will start exiting the venue no later than 10:30pm.

Question

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

Unless the physical invitation and corresponding digital RSVP you received states that you have a plus one, you do not unfortunately. Our guest count for the venue is very strict, and we are keeping it intimate. If you do have a plus one and choose to invite someone, you must RSVP them by name along with yourself to have them added to our guest list. Please also be sure to communicate dress code to all plus ones.

Question

Is my entire family invited if I am?

Answer

Again, we have a strict guest count for the venue. Only individuals specified on physical invitations and corresponding digital RSVPs are invited. However, anyone and everyone is welcome to come our event the night before!

Question

Can I bring my child(ren)?

Answer

Unfortunately no. Again, we have a strict guest count for our venue, so only those whose names appear on invitations and corresponding digital RSVPs are invited. We apologize if this is an inconvenience, but children are welcome at our welcome event the night before.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! You’re welcome.

Question

What does the reception entail?

Answer

Our reception is party time, so please be ready to dance! We will start with a sit down dinner, have cake and shaved ice, and celebrate! Be ready to dance too! Only those invited to the ceremony are welcome at the reception, the venue does not allow additional guests throughout the night.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is a very large private parking lot at the venue. Take into consideration our open bar however, and think about Uber or ride shares if necessary. If you do choose to bring a car, the venue allows for it to stay over night and be picked up between 10am and noon the next day if needed. Safety is most important!
