Sammy and Doug met unexpectedly through mutual friends in March, 2019. At the time, Doug lived in Cincinnati and Sammy lived in Columbus. Despite being in different cities, they stayed closely in touch. Texting led to calling, which led to traveling every weekend to see each other. Before they knew it, they were both in their first long distance relationship. After awhile, they both decided that it was time to live in the same city. Columbus was the most sensible option because it’s where they had both grown up. A short time later, Doug found a job in Columbus and before long, they had their first house together and two adorable kitties. Sammy and Doug couldn’t be more excited to start the next chapter of their lives together!
