Best Man
For those that know me well, they know how much my grandfather means to me. My grandfather is at the top of people who I look up to. He has taught me so much growing up alongside him over the years. He introduced me to his greatest passion of fishing, and we have been fishing buddies from the first time we went. He is someone I can always turn to for anything. I think me and my grandfather could solve a lot of the world’s problems with our conversations we’ve had in the mornings or evenings with coffee on the back porch. I am grateful to have him as my best man, and I am so thankful to God for having him as my grandfather.
Matron of Honor
The sweetest, kindest, and most genuine person you will ever meet. Dorsey was there for me for one of my first dates with Hunter. Not only has she been a true friend helping navigate a new relationship, but she has grown to be like a sister to me over the past 4 1/2 years! She sets an example for me with her love of her family, it’s one I can always learn from and look up to. Love you Dorsey!

Zach and I have know each other for a long time. I knew him since Elementary School when we rode the same school bus together. We lived right down the road from each other. I didn’t really bond with Zach until we were both starting college. Zach was a year younger than me, but college kind of takes that separation out. We bonded over our passion for the outdoors with hunting and fishing. He is a like another brother to me and a great friend that I can always turn to. He and his family were there for me during one of toughest times of my life, and I will always be thankful for that. I would do anything for him, and I am glad to have him with me for the start of the next chapter of my life.
Bridesmaid
The friend that lasts a lifetime. The friend that is there even when we haven’t talked in forever. I’ve known Candice since I was just a little middle schooler. She has seen me grow up and cheered me on along the way, and I will always be grateful that God placed her and her amazing testimony in my life.
Groomsman
Turner (Napoleon Dynamite as I sometimes call him) has been one of my closest friends for a long time. We bonded in second grade and used to go over to each other’s houses. Turner lived in the same neighborhood as I did so we were around each other often. We lost touch through middle school having different classes but reunited back in High School where our friendship really took off for hunting and fishing. That was both of our passions and is the root of our friendship. His family is like another family to me, and I am excited to have him a part of this next chapter of my life

Taylor is the kind of girl that everyone needs in their life. She has such an ability to connect to you and really understands and listens. Taylor is beyond talented, hardworking and is my friend that I know I can count on. Thankful I get to lead worship alongside of her, and have grown to know her beautiful soul over the years.

My youngest brother Rhett always keeps me on my toe’s. Growing up together not far apart in age, we were always very competitive with each other. He would try and outdo me in anything and I would try and outdo him. That competitiveness still goes on between us to this day. I admire his willingness to do things the right way and become the best he can at whatever he put his mind to. From hockey, to the shotgun team, and now to golf he tries to better himself in all that he does (especially trying to be at least better than me). He always keeps me persevering for better since I know he is right behind me trying to do better than me. I love him for that and glad to have him with me as part of this next chapter of my life

Oh Milly. This girl, there is just too much to say - all wonderful things of course. Words I would describe Amelia as; Energetic, authentic, supportive. I feel like I’ve known Milly my whole life. She is the only friend I will FaceTime and the one I know I can come to when I need a good cry or a big hug. She makes me smile! Bring Amelia in the room and watch the room light up! So dang grateful God sent her to the old ColGa.

My oldest brother Dalton was someone I looked up to growing up. Since he was a few years older than me, he went through all of the major changes in life first, and I have gotten to watch everything he did to help me make my own decisions. Dalton is very smart and always tries to find the best in situations. I have learned a lot from him, and I am lucky to have him as my brother and be with me for this next chapter in my life.

One of the best and first memories I have of Victoria is in 5th grade. She was doing school announcements and I was called up there to do the pledge of allegiance and I was beyond nervous. I remember walking into the recording room and stepping in front of the camera. Her first words to me were, “Carley! I am so glad you’re here you’re going to do a great job”. Little Carley appreciated the encouragement, but I realize now that this is who Victoria is. She is that most supportive and encouraging friend, and you can’t forget how talented the girl is!!! I love you VickyV!

Strong, wise, confident, and admirable, I wish I could be half the person Meghan is. I am so thankful that through Cascade Hills and our worship team I’ve met her. I’ve been lucky to get to know her and watch her little Rory and Mack grow up. Meghan has been a friend for me and I don’t say that lightly. Blessed to say Meghan is in my circle and thankful God put such a person in my life, I know I can always come to.
