We met the weekend before our freshman year started at Maryville University. His dorm was watching the McGregor vs. Mayweather fight and I somehow ended up going to it. I walked in with a few friends and sat down on the floor. Mason was sitting on the couch by himself and told our friend group that someone could sit next to him. I saw that it was a cute boy and immediately sat next to him. We’ve been together ever since.

My parents were in town visiting and we took them to the lake for the weekend. While we were there Mason got out his grandpa’s old wooden boat to show my dad. Mason asked me to test drive it with him first before he took the boat out. While we were in the middle of the lake he proposed!
