FAQs

If you have any questions other than what we've listed here, please don't hesitate to reach out to either Eileen or Patrick.
Question

How do I find the church?

Answer

The church is on the same road as the reception, so it's very easy to find. All you have to do is drive to the end of White Store Road, and the church is situated on a corner overlooking the scenic Butternut Valley. You can't miss it! Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes early so that you can add your name to our guest book.

Question

Where should guests park for the ceremony?

Answer

You can park your vehicle at the side of the road by the church. We strongly encourage you to stop at the reception venue first, and carpool with friends/family to the church at the end of the road. This should minimize the amount of cars parked on the roadway by the church, and make it easier for everyone to shuttle back to our reception. It is an approximately 2-minute drive between the church and the reception.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony at White Store Church, guests will make their way up the road to the Homestead, where our reception will be held. There will be signs for parking. Appetizers will be served immediately, followed by dinner and toasts at 2:00 pm. Live vinyl record spinning by DJ Mateo will be our featured entertainment from approximately 3:00-6:00 pm. The Pizza Bar will open at 6:00 p.m. for our late-night guests. Rides to town will be available, courtesy of the bride's father, until 9:00 p.m.

Question

Can I camp at the reception?

Answer

Yes! Please do! Bret and Kayla's property, the Homestead, has more than enough room for happy campers. We would love to spend the night under the stars with you.

Question

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

We will have meat-friendly, vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free food options for everyone. When you RSVP, please let us know what you would like for your meal at our reception. *Our wedding cake will not be gluten free or vegan*

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yep! This a family get-down! As Bill Monroe said, "Y'all come."

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest", then yes; if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

No. Our wedding is BYOB! Make sure you come prepared. .
