MUST VISIT! THE best place to 'bop' around in Richmond - come here for all the eating, drinking, and shopping with an eclectic flair. Jill's favorites include: Can Can, World of Mirth, Mongrel, Plan 9 Records, Coppolas, and Mom Siam.
T Tyler Potterfield Memorial Bridge
BEST VIEW OF THE CITY! Take this metal bridge from downtown over the river to Woodland Heights where Jill's dad lives. The southside of the bridge has wonderful trails and even rock climbing!
Helen’s Restaurant
**Location of our after party** Helen's is a legendary Richmond spot located in the heart of the Fan. Join us here Saturday night from 10 - 2 for an after party!!
Scott's Addition Historic District
Scott's Addition is the new 'hip' area in Richmond. As a former (and current) industrial neighborhood, it houses most of Richmond's breweries along with some shops and restaurants. Classics include: Hardywood, Star Hill, and The Veil. The Welcome Party on Friday will be in this area at Supper!
Sub Rosa Bakery
The BEST bakery in town in one of Jill's favorite neighborhoods. Grab a croissant and coffee to go and walk around historic Church Hill where Patrick Henry said his famous words - Give me liberty or give me death! Make sure to walk over to Libby Hill Park to catch one of the best views of the city. Fun fact: Jill's sister, Molly, got married across the street! <3
The Jefferson Hotel
The hotel exudes elegance and old Virginia history. Come simply to tour the stunning artwork and design or imbibe in a cocktail from their gorgeous bar. (Walking distance from Linden Row Inn)
American Civil War Museum- Historic Tredegar
It has been called the best viewpoint of the Civil War from the most perspectives. It is housed in historic Tredegar Iron Works and sits right on the river. Well worth a visit while in the historic city.
Belle Isle
Come here for a walk on the numerous trails or bring your mountain bike for some more adventurous fun! You can catch breathtaking views of the skyline along with the ability to cross the river on huge boulders. Richmond sits on the fall line which has created a very walkable river.
Virginia Museum of Fine Arts
Free entry for all visitors! Check out the "Rumors of War" statue out front before browsing a wonderful selection of classic and modern art. Their cafe is one of Jill and her Aunt Ceal's favorites!
Quirk Hotel Richmond
Grab a drink in the pink-themed hotel lobby or head to the rooftop for a great view of the city!
The Poe Museum
Edgar Allan Poe spent part of his life in Richmond even staying at Linden Row Inn! This museum is a must for all the Poe fans out there!
The Tobacco Company Restaurant
A must-see if visiting Shockhoe Bottom. We highly recommend grabbing a drink at the bar on the first level (fingers crossed for live music at happy hour!)
Floodwall Park
BEST view in Richmond and you can connect to the James River Park System for some fabulous trails.
Rappahannock Restaurant
You can't come to Richmond without slurping some raw oysters! We recommend sitting at the bar at happy hour for a dozen and a local craft beer. (Walking distance from Linden Row Inn)
Can Can Brasserie
If you close your eyes you can pretend you're in France! Can Can is one of Jill's favorite restaurants from growing up - highly recommend the Hanger Steak and reservations for dinner.
Hollywood Cemetery
Hollywood is a beautiful riverside cemetery where you can find two presidents buried - John Tyler and James Monroe!
Legend Brewing Co
OG Richmond brewery! Fantastic views of downtown from the outdoor patio. Dog friendly!

Triple Crossing Beer - Downtown
Cool, industrial brewery within walking distance from Linden Row Inn! Check out their rooftop for a river view.
Stella's
Fantastic Greek spot for dinner! Richmond classic. Reservations recommended.
Edo's Squid
I still remember the rockfish I had from this place when I was in middle school THAT'S how good their food is. Enjoy some of the freshest fish and other dishes at this upstairs haunt. Jill had her graduation dinner here and many other wonderful memories. Come for the food, stay for the ambiance! Reservations highly recommended.
The Roosevelt
Looking for a fancy dinner while in town? Enjoy classic Virginia fare - soft shell crab, cornbread, local fish - in the most historic neighborhood in town, Church Hill. Reservations highly recommended.
ZZQ Texas Craft Barbeque
While not local to Richmond, Richmonders FLOCK to this BBQ mecca. Come for the BBQ, stay for the beer.
