Scott's Addition is the new 'hip' area in Richmond. As a former (and current) industrial neighborhood, it houses most of Richmond's breweries along with some shops and restaurants. Classics include: Hardywood, Star Hill, and The Veil. The Welcome Party on Friday will be in this area at Supper!
The BEST bakery in town in one of Jill's favorite neighborhoods. Grab a croissant and coffee to go and walk around historic Church Hill where Patrick Henry said his famous words - Give me liberty or give me death! Make sure to walk over to Libby Hill Park to catch one of the best views of the city. Fun fact: Jill's sister, Molly, got married across the street! <3

It has been called the best viewpoint of the Civil War from the most perspectives. It is housed in historic Tredegar Iron Works and sits right on the river. Well worth a visit while in the historic city.
Come here for a walk on the numerous trails or bring your mountain bike for some more adventurous fun! You can catch breathtaking views of the skyline along with the ability to cross the river on huge boulders. Richmond sits on the fall line which has created a very walkable river.

Edgar Allan Poe spent part of his life in Richmond even staying at Linden Row Inn! This museum is a must for all the Poe fans out there!
A must-see if visiting Shockhoe Bottom. We highly recommend grabbing a drink at the bar on the first level (fingers crossed for live music at happy hour!)

If you close your eyes you can pretend you're in France! Can Can is one of Jill's favorite restaurants from growing up - highly recommend the Hanger Steak and reservations for dinner.
Hollywood is a beautiful riverside cemetery where you can find two presidents buried - John Tyler and James Monroe!
