Her I like to throw it all the way back to kindergarten when I tell this story. Our families first met at Covenant Church, which was where the relationship between families began to grow. Our parents were friends, I was friends with Sharon, but boys had cooties at the time so I didn't pay much attention to her older brother. My family only lived in Charlottesville for a year before we moved out west for my dad's job. Little did Nemmy and I know that this year in cville was the beginning of God's little (BIG) plan for our lives. Fast forward to sophomore year of high school -- my family had moved back to the Charlottesville area and I began running track. This was also the same time Nemuel started going to FUMA and began running track as well. (what.) I became great friends with one of the girls on my team, Jessica, who's father not only taught at FUMA, but was one of Nem's teachers. (again, what.) Jessica invited me to come watch one of the track meets at FUMA one random Saturday in April. There was this certain guy running the second leg of the 4x4 on the FUMA team that caught my eye. Never in a million years did I expect who that speedy guy actually was and what would happen next. Him So I had a few guys on the track team telling me over and over again about "a girl named Dominique that you know," which confused me because the only friends on Facebook that I had named Dominique were guys. (she hates that part) I had heard that they invited her to come to our next track meet and I was curious to figure out how exactly we knew each other. The following Saturday rolls around and I get to the UVA track where we had our meet. My friends called me over to where they were, and standing in that circle was this little bright-eyed, curly-haired cutie that immediately caught my attention. Little did I know that this was the famous Dominique and I just HAD to get to know her. 5 years later, I'm marrying her.
