Is there a hotel room block?

Answer

Yes, please reference the Accommodations tab of our website. There is a block of rooms available at both Hotel Godfrey and Hotel Felix. Both are within a minute walk of our venue.

Do I have to use the hotel room block?

Answer

Of course not, these are just two options that are within steps of our venue. The area near our venue is full of hotel options at varying price points. If you plan on going the Airbnb route we suggest the following neighborhoods; River North, West Loop, Wicker Park, West Town, Lincoln Park or Old Town.

Will Children be welcome at the wedding?

Answer

While we love all your little ones, we have made the decision to make this an adult only wedding.

How to get to the hotel from the airport?

Answer

The easiest way to get to the hotels or wherever you are staying is to take an uber or cab. We usually take a cab since there is usually little to no wait. The taxi line is right outside of baggage claim. Traffic depending but it usually takes around 45 min to get to the city and costs around $50. If you're feeling adventurous, there is the option to take the Blue Line to the Clark/Lake stop which will get you .6 miles from the hotel (Would still need a quick uber ride to make it to the hotel). The cost is $5 per rider and you can just tap your credit card to pay.

Is there parking at the Welcome Party?

Answer

There is no designated parking. Anyone driving will have to relay on street parking. We encourage people to Uber, but since the Cubs are not in season street parking should be available.

Will there be parking or a valet option at the Wedding Venue?

Answer

There will not be designated parking or valet service provided. That said there are public garages at there are multiple parking garages within walking distance of the venue.

Is the Wedding inside or outside?

Answer

The entire wedding will be held at our venue, Chicago Winery. The ceremony and reception will be inside, and the cocktail hour will be in an enclosed four seasons room that can be opened up weather permitting.

What attire is expected for the Wedding Day

Answer

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

The venue will open 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, so please aim to be there right at 5:00pm, so you have time to grab a glass of wine and find a good seat.
