Should I bring a coat?

Answer

Yes, our entire event will take place outside on the water's edge.

What kind of shoes should I wear?

Answer

The ceremony will take place on grass and the reception has a rustic wood floor (with gaps between the boards). Please keep in mind if you're planning on wearing heels!

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes, there is a private lot to the right of the front door as well as additional parking across the street and tons of on street parking.

Can I smoke at this event?

Answer

Not on the grounds but there is easy street access steps away!

Can I bring my own liquor?

Answer

No, our bartender is the only one allowed to serve drinks. Only beer, wine, and cider are licensed at this venue.

Is it an open bar?

Answer

No it is not. Wine, Beer, and Seltzer will be offered at $5 each. All non-alcoholic beverages are completely free!

Is there a shuttle service from the reception?

Answer

Unfortunately this is a very small town and there isn't a shuttle service available (cab services are very limited). There is plenty of parking at the museum and cars can be left overnight if needed. The Chug Wagon is a volunteer DD service that can be requested via call or text: (315) 767-6544 and they run from 6pm-2am Fridays and Saturdays. A $10 donation to the driver is recommended. Please also check you hotel/motel guest services for additional recommendations.
