Reed a Love Story

Life sends you into situations and you ask yourself "what am I doing here?" or "what made me do that?" When that happens you just have to go with it because it can be God putting something in your life that you didn't know you needed. That's exactly how an act of randomness set me up to be with the love of my life and family that I will always cherish. I was on my way to my guy's house when I got a call that he wasn't home and he will be there shortly. I'm like cool let me run an errand to kill time. I go to RadioShack because I needed something. To my surprise there’s a girl working. This golden skin girl wearing no make up, dressed like Aaliyah with a unique beauty mark on her face. With a pleasant personaility and smile that could light up the sky she asked "how can I help you?" I looked at her, in my mind I said "I bet she beautiful out of her work attire!" I asked a million questions and she answered them without hesitation. So I said I may have a chance. I went ahead and bought the item. While I was paying she asked me did I need anything else? I didn't want to be thirsty so I said I'll be back for other items, but gave her my number so it would be up to her if she was feeling me. That night I got a text from a number. It was her! We talked into the morning about everything like Remember the Time lyrics. All I can remember is I kept singing "Baby won't you come myyyy waayyy?” After that we continued to text and talk all day. This led to me bringing her dinner at work, she had a busy day so I treated her. D’Lana was so pleased by the gesture and me being a gentleman. I was just happily surprised that she was so happy and thankful it had me thinking. This led to many nights of us hanging out, having fun, playing pool, drinking games, and walks on the beach. I knew this was the vibe I wanted for life. It was easy to enjoy time together without expectations. I knew she was mine and I was hers and the rest is happily ever after. Reed a love story! 💜
