Yes. The ceremony and reception will both be held outdoors. We will also have masks available for anyone who would like to use one. While we're excited to celebrate our marriage with you all, we are still being cautious. We have immunocompromised and elderly family members that will be attending the wedding and we ask that you respect our wishes to keep them safe and healthy by monitoring any symptoms you have leading up to the wedding and communicating with us if you do contract COVID. We kindly ask that you celebrate with us from home if you are still testing positive on the day of our wedding.
Yes, your children are welcome to come and celebrate as part of the family. Please be sure to include them in your RSVP if they will be attending. We do ask that you utilize the extensive walking paths and open areas of the Arboretum if they become restless during the ceremony or reception. Children are not allowed unattended in the Alex Camp House or the general reception area.
Both the ceremony and the reception will be held outdoors surrounded by the beautiful landscaping of the Arboretum and White Rock Lake.
The best way to describe our dress code is “casual cocktail” or “dressy casual”. No need to wear a tie or formal dress, but a nice pair of slacks and a collared shirt or a knee length dress would be great.
Please leave yourself an additional 5-10 minutes to park and walk to the Red Maple Rill. We will upload a map of the arboretum outlining where to park, the location of the ceremony, and the location of the reception. If you don't currently see that information on the website, check back in a few days or shoot us a message.
Yes! There will be lunch and refreshments at the reception. If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know as soon as possible.
Please submit your RSVP by September 15, 2022.
