The same high school but different programs. The same college but different social circles. The same street but different apartment buildings. This is how our story begins. We orbited each other for years, through mutual friends and random parties, a small strike out for Kevin in 2012, bumping into each other here or there but never getting close, until fate decided we were ready for our forever love in 2017 when groomsman Chuck Prior, one of Kevin's closest childhood friends, and his wife, Shannon, one of Rebecca's closest law school friends, got engaged and reintroduced us in 2017 and the rest is, as they say, history.

A rushed Friday morning, Rebecca hurriedly getting ready for work, the ring had been burning a hole in Kevin's pocket for over a month as his plans kept getting sabotaged by unexpected delays and Florida weather, Kevin got down on one knee and, after finally convincing her he was serious, she said "yes!". Sometimes our best laid plans don't work out and true love means being together in your home, on a regular day, and promising to spend forever together.
