WHAT DO I DO IF I BOOKED A HOTEL ROOM IN VACAVILLE?

Answer

We are excited to celebrate with all of you! If you have booked a room at the previous hotel, Sonesta Essential Hotel, please get in touch with them directly at (707) 469-6200 and cancel the reservation that was made ASAP. They will give you a full refund at no charge. Refer to the 'Places to Stay' tab to book a room at the hotel we have set in place for the new venue location in Dixon, CA. If you have any more questions about this, please feel free to contact us directly.

DO YOU HAVE A HOTEL BLOCK FOR GUESTS? WHERE DO YOU RECOMMEND I STAY?

Answer

We do currently have a hotel block at the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Dixon, CA - UC Davis Area. There are king and double queen rooms available, first come first serve. For more information on how to book a room with our block, head over to the "Places to stay" tab. We have also listed a few other conveniently located hotels on our "Places to stay" tab for your convenience!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. Ladies should wear dresses and gentlemen should wear a nice button-down shirt, slacks, and tie or a sports coat.

WILL THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Answer

At the venue, the ceremony will take place in a grove that is surrounded by cedar trees. There is a grassy area next to a 40 x 60 foot wedding tent.

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE THIS TIME OF YEAR?

Answer

The average high during this time of year in October is 84°F and the average low is 48°F. Please be prepared for it to cool down in the evening and bring a jacket or even a warm blanket to warm your lap.

WHERE ARE THE CEREMONY AND THE RECEPTION TAKING PLACE?

Answer

Both the Ceremony & Reception takes place at the same venue, 6268 Silveyville Rd. Dixon CA, 95620.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive 30-45 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Answer

There will be parking attendants to guide you where you can park.

DOES YOUR WEDDING HAVE A THEME?

Answer

Although there is not a specific theme to the wedding, we will be keeping things simple with shades of blue/green and peach with a rustic and classy style décor.

WILL FOOD AND DRINKS BE SERVED AT THE RECEPTION? WHAT KIND OF FOOD?

Answer

Yes! Food will be catered & served by T&R BBQ. This will be all you can eat for an hour. You will find brisket, chicken, ribs, and more. There will be salad and other vegetables as well. Drinks available will be beer, wine, soda, water, and a few select cocktails such as whisky coke & vodka cranberry.

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE CEREMONY?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception area where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.

ARE THERE OTHER WEDDING EVENTS I CAN ATTEND?

Answer

No planned events outside of the ceremony & reception. But feel free to reference our things to do tab for some suggestions.

CAN I BRING A DATE?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

CAN I TAKE AND POST PICTURES OF THE WEDDING ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

Answer

Yes, however, we are planning for an unplugged ceremony. We want everyone to be fully immersed in our special day and don't want technology to take away from any of that. We also have hired some amazing photographers to capture these moments. After the ceremony, we encourage guests to take/post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #DillaynandDestinie2024 so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Prior to the day of, feel free to call Dillayn, Destinie or immediate family members if you have anymore questions. On the week of, please don't stress the bride or groom. The bridal party or family members can assist with questions.
