Airport transportation

Here is some important info from CARM: * Do not book a flight that lands to the Cancun Airport after 8:15 PM (the last ferry to the island is at 11:00 PM) * Do not book a flight that departs the Cancun airport before 10:00 AM. (The first ferry from the island in the morning is 6:00 AM, with a 6:20 AM pick up, you will arrive at the airport by approximately 7:30 AM.)

This is an Adult Only All- Inclusive hotel located right on Playa Norte in downtown Isla. It is within walking distance to all of the best shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. You can also stay at the hotel and not purchase the All-Inclusive option.

Ixchel Beach Hotel

This beach-front hotel is located directly next door to Aluxes. It is not an all inclusive, but it does have many amenities including a large outdoor pool, bar/restaurant on site. Great choice!

Nautibeach Condos

Since we will have the girls with us...we will be staying at this family-friendly condo resort. The wedding will take place on the beach in front of this property. These condos are individually owned. The website lists the block that are owned by the resort itself. You can also find individually owned condos on vbro/airbnb/web-search for Nautibeach Condos.

During our recent visit to the island....this is where we stayed! We had an amazing experience and found it to be comfortable and affordable. We recommend staying on floors 2-4 with the ocean view! While it is small walk from the downtown area ( we are talking a few blocks...while passing delicious churro carts...can't go wrong) ...it felt like our secret hideaway. Selected by Conde Nast Traveler magazine as one of the 50 Best New Hotels in the World. Secreto is a sleek hideaway -- Santorini-meets-Schrager style. Nestled on a cove, Secreto sits on the quietest corner on the northern tip of Isla Mujeres. The clue's in its name. Not even an entrance sign notifies you of its existence. Designed by an award-winning architect, the hotel looks more like a slick private beach house. Constantly upgrading, the hotel was renovated in 2005 to include a 20 meter lap pool and an all junior suite lay-out. Modern touches include free WI-FI.

This hotel is located just a few minutes walking distance to Playa Norte. It is a more budget friendly option, but still located in the Downtown area (within walking distance to all of the shops, cafes, bars etc).
