This is the main hotel closest to the venue, and we have secured a hotel block. You can book a double queen, king, or king suite for $179 a night using code VWW. We recommend booking ASAP, as we only have the hotel block until September 4th, 2025, and room types are limited. *Two important notes on shuttle service* This will also be the pickup and drop-off location for the bus transportation to and from The Market at Grelen on the day of the wedding, so we highly recommend staying here or close by. The Holiday Inn also has a complimentary shuttle service for arrivals and departures to the airport. Just reach out the to the hotel at least 48 hours in advance of your flights to book.

Shuttle
Shuttle from the Holiday Inn to the Wedding
October 19, 2025 3:30 pm - 10:00 pm
A shuttle will be running from the main hotel to and from The Market at Grelen. For the ceremony, first pickup will be at 3:30pm, last pickup will be be 3:45pm. Starting at 8pm, the shuttle will run hourly until 10pm back to the Holiday Inn.

Charlottesville–Albemarle Airport
Charlottesville Airport is tiny, but only 9 minutes away from the main hotel. Very convenient, and prices are generally not much higher than Richmond if you book early. Can book rental cars at this airport, and the hotel also provides a shuttle to this airport for arrivals and departure. Rental cars from this airport may be limited, so book in advance of your flight if that's something you want guaranteed.

Richmond International Airport
The Richmond airport is 1 hour 34 mins away from the main hotel, but may have cheaper and direct flights and you are pretty much guaranteed a rental car, where Charlottesville has limited rental cars available. A good option for folks who want to save on flights and don't mind a bit of a drive with a guaranteed rental car.
