Nope! There is a shuttle from the airport that takes you into banff. Inside of banff hotels offer complimentary ski shuttle service to all 3 mountains and into town shuttle services ! The ski rental shop will also deliver and pick up your rentals from hotels in banff! If you do rent a car prepare for national park entrance fee and overnight parking fees, but useful to have freedom and if you wanna explore some local hikes!
Calgary! Banff is approximately a 1hr and 45 min scenic drive from the airport.
