We met online during the pandemic. After a first date walking on the beach and talking about whether aliens existed (they do), we had a great second date eating fries, drinking beers, and learning about all of the coincidences in our lives. After a third date of cooking together and watching Spider-verse things were in full swing and we started planning some of our first big adventures like hikes in Big Sur and Catalina, and a spontaneous trip to Hawaii not long after. I met Savannah on a beautiful day that we spent at the beach after getting pizza and ice cream. Since then we've had plenty of movie nights sharing our love of popcorn and days at Disney filled with rides (especially Guardians of the Galaxy). Engagement Savannah and I went ring hunting and picked out the perfect one for Desiree together. After she provided me details like ring size and the diamond cut Desiree wanted I thought the jig was up, but luckily it was still a real surprise. We got engaged in Iceland under the stars in a bubble after a few hands of cards, and then again in our kitchen with Savannah over some Chipotle after a long trip home. We fell in love with Banff and the hotel on a trip in January for Desiree's birthday. It has an awesome small town vibe, with great skiing/boarding and other fun outdoor activities (Check them out in the Things to Do tab). We started talking about it being the perfect place to get married as we explored the hotel together on a slow day when no one else was around...until we got chased out of the ballroom by a ghost (maybe). We're excited to be able to fulfill that dream of getting married in Banff and share the next chapter of our story with all of you!
