Vancouver Seawall
Grab your camera, rent a bike and take a nice cycle around the Seawall. It's a Vancouver institution, and it's the world's longest uninterrupted waterfront path. The views are incredible!
Stanley Park Pitch & Putt
Lovely 18-hole P&P course that's well worth a morning/afternoon. PS - you're allowed drink on the course.
Granville Island Public Market
Take a stroll around Granville Island and explore the market. It's right on the water, tons of food options, and plenty to distract the kids.
Kitsilano Beach
Kits Beach is a lovely place to spend a sunny day. There's plenty of space, a playground, tons of grass, food options. Just watch out for all the sunburned Irish people.
Playland Amusement Park
The PNE is a Vancouver institution and well worth a visit. It's your classic amusement park/summer fair with rides, crooked games, and loads to do. While you're here, they also have a petting zoo, live dog shows, and a massive indoor market.
Sea to Sky Gondola
Squamish is one of our favourite places. Great for hikes, views, food and brews. If you don't feel like hiking, there is a gondola that will take you all the way to the top for a great view over Howe Sound
Whistler
An amazing place. Great to visit any time of year. Good for biking, hiking, sight-seeing, wandering around the village and more. Buses travel up there multiple times daily from Vancouver along a beautiful stretch of highway, making the trip worthwhile from start to finish.
