As much as we love your little ones, our special day will be an Adult Only affair. We greatly appreciate you respecting our wishes of no young children present on Our Big Day! If you would like to provide your own babysitter, there will be an area in the Parish Hall, beside the church, that you may use during the ceremony from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. The area must be left clean. Please let us know if you would like to use the space. We recognize that some of you will be traveling with your kids, so please know they are welcome at the Friday Welcome Meet Up and Sunday brunch! Please reach out to our Wedding Planner, Anna Swanson, if you require assistance finding a sitter for Saturday. Anna can be reached via call or text at (678) 787-0374.
Please RSVP as soon as possible, but no later than March 14th.
Kindly, do not bring any adults or children that are not on your RSVP. Your entire party will be displayed on the RSVP page. If there is anyone missing from your party, they currently do not have an invitation or a seat. Please contact us directly if you have any questions about the members of your party, as attendance is welcome by Invitation Only and seats are assigned.
The attire is Black Tie for the daytime ceremony, but add in a Twist of Madness for the evening reception! In other words, festive and formal. Get all fancied up and put on your dancing shoes! We'd love to see those sequins, bright colors, and tuxedos. Ladies should go for the gown! Daytime should be more typical Black Tie, while your Twist of Madness for the evening could be anything from a pop of color, to feathers or a top hat. Have fun with it!
April is known as one of the best months to visit Savannah! The warmer days mean many of the spring foliage and flowers are at their best, and the weather should be beautiful. Daytime highs average around 77 degrees, with chilly evenings dropping as low as 54 degrees. Please bring some warm layers for the evenings.
We have reserved Room Blocks for our guests at nine different hotels with discounted group rates. See our Travel tab for pricing, booking links, and additional information.
Eat a late lunch after the Ceremony, as we will be having a late dinner. Take a stroll down River Street, or, take a nap if you want to rest up for the long night ahead! We will be dancing into the wee hours!
For the Ceremony at Sacred Heart Church, there is a parking lot behind the church, as well as street parking. For the reception at The Westin, there is self-parking available at the resort for a fee, as well as valet service for $35. But don't forget, there is a free ferry from River Street that will drop you off right at the Westin, and you can Uber back to River Street!
Guests should arrive at the Church between 1:30pm - 1:45pm for the Ceremony, and 7pm for the Reception.
Both! Our wedding ceremony is indoors, but our reception will be both indoors and outdoors.
Yes! We would love for you to take photos, as long as you promise to share them with us! However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.
