Explore the historic downtown Manteo! We love walking around, grabbing coffee at Charis and wandering around the shops. The Dare County Arts building is also a great place to view local artists work!

O'Neal's Sea Harvest

Jockey's Ridge State Park is home to the tallest living sand dune system on the Atlantic coast and provides an ideal location for flying kites and watching sunsets. There are several great hiking trails and sound accesses!

One of our favorite hiking trails, with several to choose from. We love to bring Peedee here and let him off leash while we hike. Beautiful views of the sound and Outer Banks nature!

Nags Head Woods Preserve

Over the Basnight (formerly Bonner) Bridge is our favorite strip of sand. Park on the side of the road and enjoy a slice of beach to yourself! The perfect spot to take the dogs, fish, tan your hide, or go surfing.
