Nuestra historia comenzó en Julio de 2023 en Jalostotitlán, México, cuando Daniela fue para visitar a sus abuelos. Lo que ella no sabía es que en este viaje conocería al amor de su vida. En muchos casos las parejas comiencan como amigos de esa amistad florece algo más, pero nosotros sabíamos que lo de nosotros nunca fue ni sería una amistad nada más. Desde el primer momento, la conversación fluía fácilmente, las risas no faltaban, y ambos sentimos que Dios nos tenía algo especial. Aunque nuestra relación comenzó a distancia, no dejamos que unas cuantas miles de millas nos detuvieran. Después de solo una semana de hablar y conocernos, hicimos nuestra relación oficial. Algunos dirán que fue algo rápido… Nosotros preferimos decir: cuando sabes que quieres algo —o en este caso, a alguien— ¿para qué esperar? Durante más de un año vivimos la distancia entre muchas llamadas, mensajes y visitas. A lo largo de todo ese tiempo, nuestra fe nos mantuvo firmes y nuestro amor siguió creciendo. Finalmente, Emmanuel tomó la gran decisión de mudarse a Estados Unidos para estar más cerca de Daniela—una prueba de que el amor realmente puede mover montañas… o por lo menos cruzar fronteras. Hoy, estamos muy agradecidos de que Dios haya cruzado nuestros caminos, y aún más agradecidos de poder celebrar este nuevo capítulo rodeados de las personas que más queremos. Our story began in July 2023 in Jalostotitlán, Mexico, when Daniela traveled there to visit her grandparents. What she didn’t know was that on this trip she would meet the love of her life. Many couples start out as friends and from that friendship something more begins to grow, but we knew from the very beginning that what we had was never meant to be just a friendship. From the very first moment, conversation flowed easily, laughter was constant, and we both felt that God had something special in store for us. Even though our relationship began long distance, we didn’t let a few thousand miles stop us. After just one week of talking and getting to know each other, we made our relationship official. Some might say it happened quickly… we prefer to say: when you know you want something—or in this case, someone—why wait? For over a year we navigated the distance through many phone calls, messages, and visits. Throughout it all, our faith kept us grounded and our love continued to grow. Eventually, Emmanuel made the big decision to move to the United States to be closer to Daniela—a true reminder that love really can move mountains… or at least cross borders. Today, we are so grateful that God brought our paths together, and even more grateful to celebrate this new chapter surrounded by the people we love most.
