A vast network of trails leave from the Chautauqua Trailhead and head right up into the Flatirons. The friendly folks at the on-site Ranger Cottage can recommend a hike at your level, plus provide brochures on wildflowers, wildlife and more. There's also a bathroom and water fountain at the cottage.
Chautauqua Park at the Flatiron foothills is a sweeping series of meadows, hiking trails, and playgrounds. This is an idyllic spot to relax with a picnic while taking in the stunning scenery, or if leisure is not your idea of a day out, then try one of the many hiking trails to the top of Flagstaff Mountain.
Miles of paved path meander right through the heart of Boulder and are easily accessible to all. Join locals who bike, jog, skate and walk Boulder Creek Path alongside the babbling creek beneath shady old-growth trees for some fresh air and beautiful Boulder views.
