we're saying I do!

Danielle and Daniel initially met in the fall of 2023 at a Church of the City community group in NYC. Daniel started inviting Danielle to dinners he and his roommates hosted, and quickly hoped friendship would turn into something more. They started their first date on April 7th, 2024 with rollerskating--and haven't stopped rolling since! They've enjoyed cruising on all types of transportation together, from the subway and CitiBikes around NYC to ski lifts and ferry rides, having fun getting to know each other and each others' friends and family along the ride. On December 29, 2024, Daniel took Danielle on a suspiciously tearful and expectant stroll to Treasure Cove at Crystal Cove Beach in California... and asked her to marry him-- she said yes with joy! Her happy place from childhood is now firmly cemented as her happiest place. Daniel pulled off two incredible surprise parties to celebrate -- one with both of their families upon their return home from the beach, and another with friends upon their return to NYC. We have been blessed to be surrounded by friends and family who have supported us from day one and who have grown with us in community. If you're reading this, thank you! God has been so good to us. Dating and engagement have been such joyful seasons, and we can’t wait for the new adventure of marriage!
