Some love stories happen all at once. Ours was built slowly, naturally, and exactly the way it was meant to be. From the moment we met, there was an undeniable connection. The attraction was there from the beginning, but life—and a little bit of patience—kept us as friends for a while. When we finally decided to take a chance on something more, it quickly became clear that what we had was worth holding onto. Not long after, our world began to grow. Between meeting family, building bonds with the kids, and discovering that even the simplest moments could become our favorite memories, everything started to feel like home. Two years into our relationship, we bought our first home together. That Christmas, we celebrated with a trip to Big Bear, and somewhere between the snow, the quiet moments, and building a life together, we realized something neither of us had said out loud before… we had found home in each other. Of course, our story hasn’t been without adventure. From our first Thanksgiving trip together—complete with breaking down on the side of the freeway, in the rain, in the dark, with no tools—to spontaneous staycations, amusement parks, family adventures, and our tradition of bringing home a new board game wherever we go, we’ve learned that some of life’s best memories come from the unexpected. Then on May 1, 2026—our seven-year anniversary—at Bluewater Grill, a place that has held so many special memories for us, another chapter began. With champagne waiting at the table, an incredible dinner, our favorite clams, king crab, crème brûlée, and the perfect evening unfolding, one simple question changed everything: "Do you still want to marry me?" The answer has always been yes. And now, we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter of our story with all of you.
